DANBURY, Conn. (AP) _ Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. (ETH) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $10.7 million.
The Danbury, Connecticut-based company said it had net income of 38 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 39 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 38 cents per share.
The home furnishings company posted revenue of $194.7 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $199.9 million.
