IRVINE, Calif. (AP) _ Autobytel Inc. (ABTL) on Thursday reported second-quarter profit of $322,000.

The Irvine, California-based company said it had profit of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, came to 19 cents per share.

The provider of marketing services for automakers and dealers posted revenue of $34.6 million in the period.

Autobytel expects full-year earnings in the range of 78 cents to 82 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $144 million to $148 million.

Autobytel shares have declined 19 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 28 percent in the last 12 months.

Autobytel (ABTL) reported earnings on Thur 3 Nov 2016 (a/h)

IRVINE, Calif. (AP) _ Autobytel Inc. (ABTL) on Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $2.7 million.

The Irvine, California-based company said it had net income of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 49 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 47 cents per share.

The provider of marketing services for automakers and dealers posted revenue of $43.9 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $41.5 million.

Autobytel expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.23 to $1.26 per share, with revenue in the range of $153 million to $155 million.

Autobytel shares have fallen 29 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $16.06, a decline of 15 percent in the last 12 months.
