WILSONVILLE, Ore. (AP) _ Flir Systems Inc. (FLIR) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $73.2 million.
The Wilsonville, Oregon-based company said it had profit of 52 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 57 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 57 cents per share.
The imaging and surveillance systems company posted revenue of $434.9 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $446.2 million.
Flir Systems expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.17 to $2.22 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.78 billion to $1.8 billion.
Flir Systems shares have climbed 14 percent since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has declined 1 percent. The stock has increased 13 percent in the last 12 months.
