TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) _ Owens Corning (OC) on Wednesday reported first-quarter earnings of $92 million.
The Toledo, Ohio-based company said it had net income of 82 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 80 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 96 cents per share.
The construction materials company posted revenue of $1.69 billion in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.61 billion.
Owens Corning shares have fallen 18 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 22 percent in the last 12 months.
