• FuelCell Energy beats by $0.03, beats on revs

DANBURY, Conn. (AP) _ FuelCell Energy Inc. (FCEL) on Thursday reported a loss of $10 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Danbury, Connecticut-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents.

The fuel cell power plant maker posted revenue of $47.9 million in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $25 million.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $53.9 million, or $1.14 per share. Revenue was reported as $95.7 million.

The company's shares closed at $1.85. A year ago, they were trading at $1.95.
