SALT LAKE CITY (AP) _ USANA Health Sciences Inc. (USNA) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $23.3 million.

The Salt Lake City-based company said it had profit of 93 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 98 cents per share.

The nutritional supplement maker posted revenue of $257.1 million in the period.

USANA Health expects full-year earnings to be $3.50 to $3.70 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.01 billion to $1.03 billion.

USANA Health shares have increased almost 6 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $64.75, a climb of 2 percent in the last 12 months.
