Rice Energy (RICE) to be acquired by EQT Corp. (EQT) for $6.7 billion

Rice Energy and EQT (EQT) acquisition confirmed for total consideration of approximately $6.7 billion (RICE) EQT will also assume or refinance approximately $1.5 billion of net debt and preferred equity.. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of  2017, subject to customary closing conditions.
