- DavidsTea reports 1Q loss
On a per-share basis, the Montreal-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 3 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 6 cents per share.
The beverage company posted revenue of $36.3 million in the period.
DavidsTea shares have fallen 10 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.15, a drop of 48 percent in the last 12 months.
