Capital One misses by $0.12, reports revs in-line :
- Reports Q2 (Jun) earnings of $1.76 per share, $0.12 worse than the Capital IQ Consensus of $1.88; revenues rose 10.3% year/year to $6.25 bln vs the $6.26 bln Capital IQ Consensus.
- Net interest margin of 6.73 percent, down 2 basis points.
- Common equity Tier 1 capital ratio under Basel III Standardized Approach of 10.9 percent at June 30, 2016.
- Provision for credit losses increased 4 percent to $1.6 billion; Net charge-offs of $1.2 billion. $465 million allowance build.
- "We remain well positioned to deliver growth and returns at the higher end of banks and distribute significant capital to shareholders, subject to regulatory approval."
