- Reports Q1 (Mar) earnings of $1.01 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.04 better than the Capital IQ Consensus of $0.97; revenues rose 9.1% year/year to $538.1 mln vs the $536.17 mln Capital IQ Consensus, driven by an increase in flight volume, partially offset by a decrease in operating yields.
- Total revenue per passenger flight segment for the first quarter 2016 decreased 13.0 percent, or $16.08, year over year to $107.88, primarily driven by a 20.5 percent decrease, or $14.06, in ticket revenue per PFS.
- Adjusted pre-tax margin for the first quarter 2016 was 21.3 percent1. Co raised Q1 operating margin to 21.5% from 19-20.5% on April 18.
